REAL BEAUTY

Beauty is an important criterion in our lives especially for woman. What the real beauty is a question that ca be discussed. Although physical beauty is so important for some, most people agree on the fact that it is temporary and should not be appreciated since it is not people’s choice.

In many societies beauty is important. When we meet new people, our first impression depends mostly on their appearance. Many women spend both their time and money to be more beautiful. Particularly media and television force us to give so importance to physical appearance. New fashions, models and some beauty standards attract people’s attention and cause them to look at people regardless of their thoughts, feelings, and characteristics. It is certain that physical beauty is temporary. Even though some people get old, they still have their beauty, because it is just moved from their faces into their hearts. This shows us that real beauty is inside(1).

To look at beauty from another perspective, it is a feature that people can not choose. We have no chance to decide to be beautiful or to struggle for it. This proves us that it can not be appreciated. On the other hand inner beauty is not like that. You can try to be a better person or you can have better characteristics. People can behave as themselves without their physical appearance.

To sum up, a person can be loved or admired due to their physical appearance. However, it last sometimes a few minutes, hours, days maybe years. But we can live in people’s minds and hearts forever with our inner beauty. This is the real beauty that no mirror can reflect.

NOT SMOKE

Prohibition on smoking in closed areas is a controversial issue. For non-smokers who exposed to smoke it provides a better and healthier life in closed areas and transports whereas it is a real burden for smokers since it makes their lives harder and unbearable, which shows both sides have right points on this issue.

According to this regulation smoking is prohibited in closed areas, which is really appreciated by non-smokers. It is certain that smoking is dangerous for people who don’t smoke as much as for smokers. They are exposed to smoke at work, cafes, restaurants, canteens. This is a big problem for families who children. Most people agree on the fact that this prohibition is very crucial for schools since the teachers who smoke form negative models for students. In addition this, smoking arises as a problem in transports. Travelling becomes unbearable for non-smokers. Just its smell is enough disturbing for them. Non-smokers and even some smokers state that they de how don’t have to stand this situation.

When we look at the situation from the smokers’ window, the situation really changes. Cigarettes are a part of their lives. When they can’t smoke they become really stressful and aggressive especially at work. There should be a special part for them at cafes, restaurants or work. Some suggest that it is a chance for them to give up smoking but they ignore how hard it is for them. In busses or taxis it should be prohibited; however, in that case drivers claim that it affects them negatively in long distances, which may be dangerous. However, to smoke while driving is dangerous as well. It is certain that getting used to this regulation is a burden for smokers.

All in all, prohibition on smoking in closed areas is a useful and effective regulation as long as the smokers are taken into consideration as well. It is sure that all people have the right to breathe, work or travel as they wish. For the best solution everyone should put himself in others’ shoes.
